The World Fashion Academy® is a professional, honorary organization dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of fashion and the promotion of creative leadership for artistic, technical and social achievements within the fashion industry.
Membership in the World Fashion Academy™ is by invitation only. The Academy sends out invitations to a limited amount of qualified members once a year, including: Fashion Designers, Models, Fashion Photographers and Fashion Editors, as well as experts from worldwide Fashion Councils and Associations. World Fashion Award nominees are automatically considered for membership.
Members thoroughly review each contender’s work, judging primarily by the core criteria: excellence, innovation, and contribution to the world of fashion. Special consideration is given to contenders who exhibit extraordinary originality, high levels of imagination and insight, and whose work significantly broadens the conventions of their discipline.
